The decision to bring your child into therapy can be a difficult one. It is important that parents know that my focus is on the strength, resiliency, and individuality of each child who comes to see me. I am not here to label your child, but to help them continue to grow into a happy, healthy individual and member of your family and their community.
My practice with children and adolescents is based in play, art, and family process. You as the parent will be involved in your child's therapy, as a strong and connected parent-child relationship is key to success.
I have worked with children and families of all kinds since 2007. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and family conflict, and have extensive experience with safety and crisis planning with children. I also have strong knowledge of the judicial, foster, and school systems.
